Move complete!

We've settled into the new house and boxes are unpacked. We're back into regular operations.

Thank you very much for your patience.

We're Moving!

We're moving back to the homeland, from Alberta to British Columbia. The actual move will be happening at the end of September. It will likely take us another month to get unpacked and organized in the new house. We will likely resume regular operations in November.

SPI Wrecking Yard sales will be discontinued during this period as parts and games are being packing into boxes. Also, becuase of time constraints, it is doubtful we can fill any redesigned counter requests (unless we physically have them at hand).

The Microgame Design Group will continue to sell products during this period, though there may be unexpected delays. Please conmtact us prior to ordering.

Thank you very much for your patience. We look forward to doing business with you very soon.

Simulations Publication Inc (SPI) was a company that published confilct simulation games from 1969 to 1982. During this time, SPI published over three hundred titles, many of which were ground breaking designs introducing novel and innovative ideas into the hobby. Through their games and their magazines Strategy and Tactics and Moves, SPI defined the direction of the hobby and introduced many to the fascinating hobby of conflict simulation games.

Since this time, many SPI games have stood their ground as enduring games. For this reason, these games continue to be collectors items, on trading sites such as E Bay and Consimworld's marketplace. With that said, it is somethimes difficult to find complete or prestine copies of these games.

The SPI Wrecking Yard is striving to maintain the legacy of these games. By buying and selling SPI games and parts, these games can continue to be enjoyed by many.

Microgame Design Group Revisited

On November 1, 2004, the Microgame Design Group (MDG) closed its doors after publishing 41 game titles. And now, after a six year hiatus, the MDG is back!

A limited number ot titles will be re-released under this effort. The re-releases will consist of updated games with die-cut counters and larger playing areas.

If you wish to purchase any game parts or have games to sell or trade, e-mail Kerry Anderson for details.
